Growing up in the 70’s, I never dreamed that one day I would be able to sell my hand made doll clothes to anyone in the world. But, that is what happened. With all the many wonderful opportunities the internet provides, I was able to design and sell my own crafts.
I’m not alone, as many other artists and crafters have been pleasantly surprised over the recent decades. Not only can we sell our original creations. We can shop for materials and explore new ideas with the push of a button. As any crafter knows, you can never have too many supplies. If you think you do, it’s time to make something!
In addition to sewing doll clothes, I have also enjoyed designing my own doll furniture. That is something I would have enjoyed as a child. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it sooner. Oh, the standard books and tissue boxes covered with towels and wash cloths worked fine. But, I do wish I had thought to go beyond. It’s never too late, though, right? You can see some of my furniture designs here on my site.
Speaking of going beyond, I also designed an awesome doll-size Narnia sledge with card board, paint, fabric, and paper mache. There really are no limits as you see your creative ideas come to fruition. That is what I hope you will enjoy most about this site.
My goal with this site is simple. I hope to share art, craft, and ideas that inspire you to explore your own artistic interests. Do you want to learn to draw, tie a fleece blanket, or make something new for your home? I will show you many of the things I have made over the years for myself, my family, friends, and even customers.
Some of my articles show step-by-step directions for how to make featured items yourself. Others showcase my review of popular products, books, art supplies, and craft kits that are available to purchase online and in stores. At times you will stumble on basic presentations of what I have made along with suggestions on how you can design patterns for your own ideas.
While you’re here, don’t miss my denim handbag designs. Thank you for stopping by. I hope you like what you see!
