Barbie Sister Stacie Doll Clothes

Sewing Barbie sister Stacie doll clothes has been a fun hobby of mine. It’s always a joy to find out that one of your favorite dolls has sisters. For Barbie, one of her sisters is the Stacie doll. Whenever a new doll is presented to the public for purchase, there are usually some additional outfits you can buy for that doll. But, sometimes those outfits are not so easy to find. In that case, you have two options: have the doll wear clothing intended for another doll, or make some doll clothes yourself.

Since the Stacie doll is smaller than a Barbie doll, it doesn’t really work to have Stacie wear Barbie’s clothes. Well, some of the fashions can be worn. But, not too many of Barbie’s clothes fit Stacie well. That leaves me with option two which is to sew clothing that fits Stacie on my own. Here are some the Stacie doll fashions I designed.

I started by designing some casual basics. Here you can see I made a stylish turtleneck shirt and pant ensemble. The coordinating handbag adds an adorable finishing touch.

My third casual outfit consists of a lilac turtleneck shirt, a skirt featuring a geometric pattern, and a sharp-looking handbag.

What about those special events? You know: the parties, theater shows, and holiday festivities? I made sure to sew a few fancy dresses for Stacie’s wardrobe. Here is a sleeveless plum gown with a delicate waist ruffle.

Next, I decided to sparkle it up a bit with this amazing turquoise sequin dress. It has a fuchsia bodice and shiny gold trim.

Don’t forget about Christmas! Stacie certainly must have a luxurious red panne velvet gown for such occasions as Christmas and New Year’s Eve. A shiny golden lycra sash coordinates ever-so just right for the holidays parties.

In those winter months, your Stacie doll will need to stay warm. Take a look at some of the fur coats I made to fit her perfectly. This gorgeous blue fur coat has gold trim on the pockets and matching gold handbag.

Once I found out how easy it is to make a coat, I just had to make another one. Every wardrobe requires at least one item made out of a leopard skin pattern. This purple leopard skin fur coat looks lovely on Stacie along with the purple crossover handbag.

Remember to think pink frequently whenever you are sewing for Barbie or making Stacie doll clothes. Stacie.
This pretty pink fur coat and matching handbag is exactly that: pretty indeed.

Stacie Doll Clothes Conclusion

As you sew for Stacie or any doll, make sure to plenty of Velcro and quarter inch elastic in stock. These are used for back closures and waistbands.

What about shoes? Yes, what about shoes? Let me share my wonderful discovery with you. Stacie doll feet are the exact same size as Ken doll feet. They are flat rather than arched like Barbie’s feet. So, if you happen to have Ken doll shoes, try them on your Stacie doll.

I hope you have enjoyed these handmade Stacie doll clothes and fashions. It was fun to make them, but even more fun to share them with you!
